I remember, signing my kid up for a build your own cabin, day camp activity, she was 8. It was just a one day thing. 3 of her classmates had signed up for it too. She was so excited, they where going to learn how to use a saw, an axe, tying knots, etc. All of her friends had phone watches and where more focused on playing with them than the actual activity. She was so disappointed...
